Pastel de tres leches

We're so excited to share this recipe for 3 leches cake! It's a classic, but when you take the time to make it yourself and add your own personal touch, it becomes something truly special.

We've included all of the ingredients below, as well as step-by-step instructions so that you can recreate this dessert at home.

Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Then, grease and flour two 8-inch round cake pans.

Next, mix together the egg whites, baking soda and salt until soft picks form. Reduce speed to low, add yolks, vanilla and sugar; whisk until combine. Mix flour, baking soda, salt and fold into mixture until just combine.

For three milk mixture: Whisk together evaporated milk, condense milk and heavy cream.

Pour the batter into your prepared pans and bake for 30 minutes or until done. When the cake is cool, pierce the surface all over with a fork. Slowly drizzle the milk mixture over the cake.

For the whipped cream frosting: Pour the heavy whipping cream and 2 Tbsp sugar into a l mixing bowl and beat on high speed 1 1/2 to 2 minutes or until thick, whipped and spreadable. Spread over the cake with a spatula then decorate with berries if desired.

1/4 tsp Baking soda

1/4 tsp Salt

1 Cup of Sugar

1 1/2 cup Flour

1 Can evaporate milk

1 Can condense milk

3/4 Cups Heavy cream

Fresh berries
