A Look That Will Never Go Out of Style
There are some looks that will simply never be out of fashion and very few can stand the test of time like the classic white button down shirt and denim look. What makes this ensemble so special you ask? Well, it’s in its ability to be effortlessly chic yet casual at the same time. It’s also a combination that can easily be taken from day to night with a simple change of shoe, bag and accessories. The crispness of the white tailored shirt and the relaxed denim vibe is simply a style that you can’t mess up, no matter how fashionably inept one may be.
There are just as many ways to style this look as there are variations of the white shirt and jeans themselves but we have a few go-to ideas that are our favorite takes on this style. For a more laid back look try a fitted pair of denim in a medium or light wash and tucking your white shirt in. Clean lines of the shirt add sophistication to this look when contrasted with the denim. We also like to layer onto this style as well and would even add a cropped denim jacket over the shoulders or for a “casual Friday” at work, we would reach for a tailored blazer and accessorize with a simple silver necklace and stacked rings. Remember to have fun with different denim washes, styles and lengths and don’t discount the denim cutoff shorts either.
