Collar Call
Some jackets arrive quietly. The funnel-neck jacket has absolutely no interest in doing that.
This season, collars are moving upward—sometimes all the way to the cheekbones. The shape is appearing on leather jackets, suede bombers, technical outerwear, and cropped coats, bringing runway drama to something genuinely practical.
That tall collar does most of the styling for us. Pair a deep-olive leather version with faded black jeans and metallic boots, or soften it with a fluid skirt and simple flats. Because the neckline already creates such a strong silhouette, the rest of the outfit can stay wonderfully uncomplicated.
Look for a collar with enough structure to stand on its own, but not so rigid that turning your head becomes the day’s biggest challenge. Minimal jewelry and pulled-back—or windswept—hair will keep the focus exactly where it belongs.
It’s polished, protective, and just dramatic enough. The forecast says wind; the outfit says perfect.
