Whether you’re a Pisces or simply have water in your chart or you envy the Piscean state of being, we have some interesting Pisces facts and tips and tricks on how to lean into your inner Pisces. Pisces celebrate their birthdays between February 19 and March 20 and this year we have a new moon in Pisces that landed on the 20th of February. With this new moon we welcomed Pisces season and depending on your zodiac sign, you may have been affected in different ways but one thing is for sure and that’s that letting go and ushering in a new chapter of rebirth was at play for everyone.
Pisces are known to be the most spiritual sign in the zodiac chart. Being a water sign they are associated with having deep emotions and thought and are said to be the most compassionate and empathetic sign there is. Yet having these amazing qualities can often lead a Pisces to be deeply hurt and affected by the actions and emotions of others. With the good, always comes the bad but Pisces are highly adaptable to their surroundings and the changes that life throws their way. Since Pisces are known to be mysterious, individualistic and incredibly empathetic we can see a lot of Pisces dressed to their emotional state and often dressed in glamorously romantic outfits. Since they are so mysterious we have to look at what they wear to gain a better perspective on what’s swimming below the surface.
Since they are a water sign and are represented by two fish, we can assume that wearing lots of aquatic blues and greens are a great way to express your inner Piscean nature. Flowy and feminine silhouettes with a bohemian flare are also a great ingredient to mastering the look. We’re thinking bell sleeved satin tops, maxi skirts with sheer overlays and perhaps our favorite, crochet and knitted sweaters and accessories in avant garde styles and patterns.
Pisces are known to be a bit indecisive which we think makes for a great outfit that incorporates lots of colors, texture and silhouettes. When we think of starts like Rihanna, Dakota Fanning and Jhene Aiko and how they dress on the red carpet, you may think that each of them are totally different from the other, but are they really? Each of these women love to have fun with color and really speak to their own individual personalities with what they wear, which is the key to dressing like a Pisces in this case. We see a lot of movement in their garments which is a testament to their water sign heritage. Long flowing skirts, airy tops and floor sweeping pants and dresses are great pillars to stick to when leaning into your inner Pisces. Basically, if you want to master fashion like a Pisces does, think like the river, the ocean and the stream and go from there.
