Our girl crush this month is none other than Gal Gadot — a real-life wonder woman. In 2018, Time Magazine dubbed Gal one of the top 100 most influential people, and we can see why. We know this Israeli beauty for her roles in the DC Films universe. But she represents so much more.

An interesting fact about Gal — the true inspiration behind our admiration — is that she served 2 years in the Israeli Defense Forces, joining a prestigious list of actors and actresses who served their countries before hitting the big screen. Gal was a combat trainer, which makes perfect sense in the context of her film career. Her performances as Wonder Woman, particularly her agility and comfort during rigorous action scenes, were phenomenal. Beauty queen, law student and more recently, mother, are also highlights of her life's resume. Gal is living proof that women really can do it all.

We adore Gal's style which, at it's core, is a definite touch of sporty mixed with a little feminine-flirty vibes. This also makes perfect sense. Gal describes herself as being a tomboy when she was younger, and always makes mention of her active childhood spent playing basketball, volleyball and a host of other sports.

One of the most beautiful things about Gal, in our opinion, is her personality, which can simply be described as ... lovable. She doesn't take her self too seriously (when not at work that is) and loves to be goofy every now and then. She also never passes on an opportunity to use her platform to spread words of encouragement to other women.
