Perhaps you’re familiar with the phrase, “if it’s a good hair day, then it's going to be a good day.” We can all relate to that feeling when our hair is just doing the damn thing. Whether you have straight hair, curly hair, fine hair or thick hair we all know that when our hair is at it’s best, so are we. It seems like everything else in our day just clicks into place. We make every green light, there’s no line at Starbucks and our annoying boss? Not so annoying today, thank you amazing hair - you truly have some amazing power. We believe that it would be so nice if those amazing hair days weren’t a dime a dozen but rather every single day. Can you imagine? We’ve rounded up a few of our favorite go-to hair treatments and products that ensure every day is an amazing hair day and therefore everyday is a great day.
Our first hair treatment that deserves the number one spot is the Olaplex Hair Care System. If you haven’t, we’re here to tell you that Olaplex is the answer to any hair care issue you may have. When it comes to hair masks, it seems we can never have enough. So, here’s three that we keep on constant rotation. First, we have to mention this Kiehl’s Olive Fruit Oil Deeply Repairing Hair Mask. This mask uses olive oil as the main reparative ingredient that repairs severely weakened hair by providing the ultimate moisture. Simply apply to strands, while focusing on the ends and leave in for at least three minutes. It’s that simple and extremely effective. Our next mask is the Oribe Moisture and Control Deep Treatment Hair Masque. This mask is for our curly girls although it's beneficial to all, this mask uses almond and coconut oil to deliver moisture to curls and provide lasting definition. Suitable for wavy to coily curl types, simply massage into hair after shampooing and let it sit for ten minutes, then be amazed at your revived curls. Our third magical mask is the Aveda Botanical Repair Intensive Strengthening Masque Rich and this mask is predominantly for those with medium to thick hair types. We love this mask because immediately after we cleanse our hair we apply this mask on thick and we can either leave it on for ten minutes or three minutes and we notice our hair is instantly strengthened. It’s perfect in a small package.
Now, let’s talk about shine because we think we don’t talk about it enough. As summer fades and fall approaches we don’t want to lose our summer shine, so we have to really prioritize it as the duller weather makes its way in. We found that hair oils such as the Gold Lust Nourishing Hair Oil from Oribe is a great lightweight oil that keeps our hair moisturized but it doesn’t weigh it down. We love to use this serum when we’re fresh out of the shower while our hair is still wet. It actually helps our hair dry faster without actually drying it out and it keeps our hair frizz-free all day.
