Shop January’s Mood
Last month we shared with you some trends, products and even celebrities that made it onto our fashion mood board. If you didn’t catch it last week, our monthly fashion mood board is simply a roundup of things that are inspiring us this month. Think of it like a personal peek into what we’re into and what we have on our fashion wish list each month. Just like a real life mood board we want to share with you different products and trends that are on our radar that we think you might enjoy as well.
Outerwear
Right now we’re really into outerwear. During the winter we love to hit the slopes for some skiing or snowboarding and of course who doesn’t like to sip hot cocoa or mulled wine at the lodge afterwards? Ski style isn’t only great for the slopes but we also like to style it in our everyday wear as well. We really like a lot of the fun jackets and outerwear that Moncler has out this season like this Moncler Grenoble Faux Shearling Hooded Vest and this awesome metallic hot pink Valsorey Bomber Jacket.
There are also a lot of great monochromatic options from this collection like this Moncler Groisy Bomber Jacket and this Lamoura Fitted Down Ski Jacket. All great for styling on and off the powder. We also like this Perfect Moment Ryder Belted Logo Print Jumpsuit which is a fleece lined ski suit embroidered with the classic Perfect Moment star logo. We love this suit for the slopes but also for the streets and would simply trade our skis for some chic combat boots for a chic city look.
Faux Fur Accessories
As far as accessories are concerned, we cannot get enough of faux fur bags. Bags like this Rebecca Minkoff Mini Faux Fur Croissant Top Handle Bag or this Nanushka Jen Large Faux Fur Top Handle Bag are perfect pairing for your winter purses this season. There’s just something so chic but cozy about a fur bag and we think that adding one of these bags to any outfit would instantly elevate it. This Nanushka bag would be great with an all cream or ivory outfit and it’s shearling-like texture would add great dimension to your look. We also like this darling pale pink number from Manu Atelier. This Mini Prism Faux Fur Shoulder Bag is a soft pink shoulder bag with a detachable rhinestone embellished shoulder strap that should fulfill all of your Legally Blonde style fantasies.
Home Goods
We talk a lot about fashion, style and beauty over here at Style Sonata but it doesn’t stop there! We also love to discuss home furnishing and interior decorations because after all we love fashion because it’s how we express ourselves but that doesn’t end with our closet. Some new additions have been added to our space after the holidays and we couldn’t be more obsessed! We love this new Louis Vuitton: Virgil Abloh Classic Cartoon Cover Book which has recently become the newest addition to our coffee table book collection and of course always great to honor the designer Virgil Abloh as well. We’re obsessed with this Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat Rouge Candle which is of course inspired by the iconic perfume scent itself. We had to buy a few of these to keep in each room and bathroom just to smell that amazing scent everywhere we go. Also, we picked up a few of these Sofia Cashmere Fringed Throw Blankets for each room as well because we just love how soft these throws are and how great they are for movie nights and days spent in bed watching the rain fall outside. Finally, this Slip Sleep Mist has become an essential before bed. Infused with chamomile and lavender this light mist is great to spray in your room and on your pillow before bed to help you fall asleep faster and sleep longer. Spray, relax and repeat as needed.
