Postcards From a Life I’m Creating
I’ve always believed that style is less about where you are and more about where you’re going — mentally, emotionally, creatively. Sometimes I’m not on the Amalfi Coast. Sometimes I’m just running errands, answering emails, or meeting friends for coffee. But that doesn’t mean I can’t dress like the main character in my own travel story.
This look? It’s not about a specific destination. It’s about a feeling.
There’s something powerful about dressing for the life you want instead of the one you’re waiting on. You don’t need a plane ticket to embody vacation energy. You don’t need a special event to wear something beautiful. And you definitely don’t need permission to take up visual space.
This is the kind of piece I build everything else around. The draping and wrap detail already create movement, so I keep accessories sharp and simple — a structured heel, a sleek bag, maybe bold earrings. Let the shape speak.
I’ve stopped saving outfits for “later.” Later is unpredictable. Instead, I dress like I’m already in the chapter I prayed for. Like the photos I’ll look back on one day and think, That’s when everything started shifting.
Fashion, for me, has always been a form of manifestation. A soft kind of declaration. A way of saying: this is the life I’m stepping into. And if that means wearing flowing silhouettes next to a bicycle like I’m in a Mediterranean film?
I’m okay with that. Because these aren’t postcards from a vacation. They’re postcards from a life I’m creating.
With Love,
Andrea
