Shoe Spotlight: Fall Boots
If it seems like summer came and went at lightning fast speed, that’s because it did. It feels like not too long ago we were making our recommendations for swimsuits, sandals and all things summer related and now here we are approaching the fall and it’s time to dress accordingly. This fall season we’re really leaning into boots and booties and away from more casual footwear such as sneakers and of course sandals.
So, what’s on our fall boot radar this season? We have kept our eyes and ears peeled and it’s official: cowboy boots are making a comeback. We’ve also heard that the chunky trend is back so you know what that means? Combat boots and lug sole boots are on our radars as well. We’re also really interested in the casual and glam aesthetic. We’ve got some boots on our shopping list that have a good balance of laid back with a hint of glitz that we can’t wait to style.
Western Vibes
Cowboy boots seem to be the ultimate “cool girl” boot these last few years and they only seem to be gaining more popularity. We love a pair of jet black, knee high boots that capture the essence of the modern city girl who likes to get a little dirty on the weekends. It’s worth mentioning too that they are ideal for festival season which is still lingering in the late summer months. We also like a low cut, cowboy bootie which is super stylish with leggings and dresses as we ease into the cooler months of the year.
Combat Mode
Combat boots have become the staple of the fall wardrobe rotation. It’s safe to say this style of boot will most likely always be in style and we’re not mad at that. It makes it a great pair of shoes to always have handy because you can wear them with most anything you already own or will buy in your closet. It seems this fashion season we are moving away from the minimalist sleek vibe and returning back to the chunky style of shoes including boots and sneakers as well.
