Selena Gomez Street Style
We’ve watched her grow up on Disney Channel right in front of our eyes. Now, Selena Gomez makes headlines for her acting, new cosmetics line Rare and yep, you guessed it, her street style looks that have us all taking notes. Let’s see what Bunny and Kailyn have to say about these three looks from the darling starlet.
Look One:
K: Love the denim-on-denim. Love it.
B: You know, I’m not too crazy about this look. And I’m not too crazy about denim-on-denim if I’m being honest. I think it's the shade of denim that isn’t doing it for me. I love the hair and the glasses, it’s very 70s for me, but something about the denim.
K: Maybe a darker wash? I think the black turtleneck kind of makes it look proportionally kind of awkward maybe? I do love this look though, it’s a fun take on a dated look and such a casual but chic streetwear look.
B: Yes, something about it seems stuffy to me. Maybe the cut of the pants and the jacket seems too small for me, I think it is the proportions, it's just a bit off.
Look Two:
B: Okay now this I can get behind. I love this witch-y, mystical vibe I’m getting from this
coat! The feather trimmed sleeves are just so fun and magical.
K: Me too. I love the hair and the lace slip dress peeking out from the coat. It reminds me of that old show, Sabrina, the Teenage Witch. It's kind of Y2K meets Hogwarts and I love it.
B: I think the jacket with the sparkly, star embroidery is such a great statement coat. The hair is simple but sophisticated and the coat steals the show. I love that it's styled around the jacket with a simple slip dress underneath and simple black pumps to tie it together. Anything more would have ruined the look altogether.
K: Totally. The jacket is the main attraction and anything added would’ve been too much but anything less would have just been a great jacket without any flair or style so with that being said Selena wore the hell out of this jacket and she looks great.
Look Three:
B: Love, love, love. That’s it. That’s the tweet, Kailyn?
K: I’m going to one up you and just say: obsessed! I love this look, it looks like something Sophia Loren might’ve worn in her day, I don’t know, that’s just the vibe I’m getting. It's so chic and her body looks amazing.
B: It is very chic and so super stylish. I love the belt, I can’t keep looking away from her waist and that belt. It makes the outfit, any other belt would’ve just been too plain or taken away from the look.
K: I love the belt, I really do. My favorite though is that top. Those shoulders are so dramatic and overly defined but I love that statement they make! The pants are so well tailored and truly all of these components on their own wouldn’t work for me, but they come together so well and it’s my favorite look out of these three.
B: Totally my favorite as well. Great minds think alike ;).
