We have to say, we love a good martini. It’s a reliable but chic drink that’s been around for centuries and sure it’s been reinvented and remixed over the years but it's simple and classic. What makes the perfect martini? Is it vodka? Is it the vermouth? Or is it shaken or is it stirred? Is it dry? Is it dirty? We decided to crack the code on what makes the perfect martini so we called in some reinforcements for a night in to craft this iconic cocktail.

It’s a very stormy night and we’re waiting for our closest girlfriends to arrive so we can begin our very scientific quest to make the perfect martini. Will we use gin? Or will we go with vodka? Doesn’t matter, we’re well stocked with both. One by one the girls arrive and we decide to turn on the new And Just Like That...Sex and the City reboot.
