Out Of Season

It seems like when it's finally autumn, I've spent most of summer looking forward to the crisp crunch of leaves on the steps of my porch; however, now all I can think of is spring. I love the nuances of the spring seasons. The way the colors and how they seem to soften and breathe, the way my scarves go from necessity to accent and of course the laughter that is guaranteed from outdoor barbecues. Spring has such a special subtlety to it that if you aren’t paying attention, you just might miss out on it. It’s like a break between all of the intense heat and extreme coldness that we take for granted. Well, at least I don’t, spring is finally here.
