Visiting Casa de Quinta Portugal

When it comes to visiting Casa de Quinta Portugal, you'll want to do as the Portuguese do: pack your bags, jump on a plane and head straight for the hills.

Portugal is an incredibly diverse country, with everything from sandy beaches along the coast to lush green forests in the mountains. It's no surprise that there are so many amazing places to visit—but what if you're looking for something a little different? Something that feels like a trip back in time?

Casa de Quinta Portugal is as close as you can get to taking a vacation in centuries past. The villa itself was built in 1790 by the Portuguese Royal Family as a summer home. They were hoping it would help them escape from the pressures of court life at Lisbon Castle (the royal residence) and enjoy some peace and quiet in the country air. It was later taken over by local farmers who farmed it until 1995 when it was sold back to its original owners—the descendants of King John VI—who restored it and turned it into a guesthouse/residence again.

The interior is decorated with antique furniture and fixtures from all over the world, creating an atmosphere that feels simultaneously old and new.

The grounds are stunning—you can wander through fields of grapevines and olive trees, surrounded by mountains on all sides. Or take a break from exploring outdoors by relaxing on one of their terraces or balconies (there are six total!). There are several restaurants on site as well as an outdoor pool where guests can lounge around while enjoying their drinks and snacks. There's also access to tennis courts if you'd like to play while staying there!

To help you plan your trip and make sure you look your best while staying in this charming hotel, we've put together some outfit ideas for this trip.
